THE Lioness - Your new local

Club Wembley’s newest addition is a contemporary gastropub, The Lioness. With a warm and friendly atmosphere, modern design and delicious meals, it may well become your new local. The name pays homage to the fierce and mighty Lionesses, the England Women’s Football Team, and the modern design with traditional pub features creates a relaxed atmosphere.

The Lioness was officially launched at the England v Spain, UEFA Nations League opener in September 2018. The new exclusive Club Wembley pub is a huge space, with three bars, seating for 500 and a capacity for 1000 standing - there’s plenty of space for all. So if you’re looking for an ice-cold ale and a comfy seat to relax before the game, you’ve found it. There’s even a self-serve beer station to make buying your round a little more interesting!

Wander around the Lioness and discover some brilliant memories and artefacts from Wembley's history. On your own mini-tour, you’ll find photos, trophies, memorabilia and displays of sporting legends or historic Wembley Stadium moments.

Once you’ve taken your seat, you can tuck into any one of the menus culinary delights, including gourmet burgers, fish and chips or cheesy nachos. The perfect accompaniment to a pre-match pint for an extra special match day experience.

Charlene Nyantekyi, General Manager at Club Wembley, The FA Group, said:
“We’re really excited to have now opened The Lioness to Club Wembley especially as its launch coincided with the much talked about return of the England team to the stadium. The Lioness offers a less formal approach to matchday hospitality in line with feedback from our existing members for this type of experience. Our attentive team and the interior design ensure a relaxed environment that’s available to all Club Wembley Member’s making it the perfect space to enjoy a pre or post-match pint with friends or colleagues and make meaningful connections.”

The Lioness is situated in the north-west side of the Club Wembley members-only concourse and is open on all Wembley match days and major Wembley events. It’s a fantastic addition to the many food and drink options available for Club Wembley members including the Three Lions pub. All dining options are open to Club Wembley members, including Inner Circle membership, but if you are after an all-inclusive Wembley hospitality package, take a look at our Centre Circle, Bobby Moore or One Twenty membership options.
